Visual, verbal, language: fluency

Recent idle internet entertainment by taking the Vocabulary Quiz, the Name that Thing Quiz, and the True or False? Quiz on the Merriam-Webster site and daydream realization this is the most apparent, demonstrable instance of Ruby Payne's research in simple form.  Taking a few dozen of these informal quizzes, a creeping feeling comes on; the educator part of me seeing continual examples of where the limited language, knowledge, and experience of poverty provides a shunted awareness, understanding and articulation of the world around us.  The pleasurable and stimulating synaptic runs I have in these late-night associations, word play, correlation to research, prior readings, introductory efforts, and linguistics a near fantasy for children born into poverty.
